    General Job description: Fully support the business strategy of the company and the corporate initiative while achieving safety and environmental goals. Fully support employee and team development. Achieve strategic and tactical plan objectives.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and maintain surveillance of wells and operation activities for oil and gas operations
    • Be a team member in the process of evaluating and implementing workover opportunities, facility modifications and capital projects.
    • Developing AFEs and providing technical input and following daily reports
    • Production operations optimization. Provide operational assistance in identifying opportunities and improvements to increase production, reduce operating costs, improve safety and resolve operating problems.
    • Preparing bid proposals and assessing responses. Contract preparations and negotiations. Leverage technology for competitive advantage.
    • Understand principles of: Critical properties of reservoir rocks, Fluid (oil, water, and gas) PVT relationships, methods to calculate hydrocarbons initially in place, dynamic techniques to assess recoverable hydrocarbons. Parameters that impact well/reservoir performance over time. Well testing principles and techniques.
    • Reservoir drive mechanisms for both oil and gas reservoirs.
    • Oil and gas field development planning principles. Enhanced oil recovery processes. Reservoir evaluation, simulation processing, and drilling operations procedures and functions.
    • Facility preventative maintenance scheduling and documentation of rotating equipment and failures and evaluations
    • Track operation and capital expenses for budgeting, comparing, and achieving tactical goals

  • Brownfield, TX: Plant Operator/ Mechanic

    As the Plant Operator/ Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of equipment within a CO2 Plant computer-controlled plant. The Plant processes around 46-48 MMscfd flow. You’ll perform maintenance and repair activities on gas engines, compressors, and other rotating equipment. You’ll also plan, direct, and oversee corrective and preventative maintenance activities performed by internal and external resources, and act as a technical resource as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate processing equipment to maintain designated operating conditions and control the amount of CO2 being processed through the plant.
    • Respond to alarms and problems within the plant and make appropriate corrections.
    • Achieve and maintain pressure and volume targets.
    • Conduct regular surveillance of automated processing operations and general maintenance.
    • Perform shutdown and startup of equipment.
    • Conduct multiple daily rounds and monitoring of facilities and identification of operational problems.
    • Responsible for lockout and tagout duties for maintenance work.
    • Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
    • Monitor SCADA equipment and report issues.
    • Write effectively and understand verbal and written communications, including but not limited to email.
    • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and high level of performance.
    • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees and the general public.
    • May be required to work non-traditional hours.
    • Callout and unscheduled overtime is required and anticipated.
    • Required to carry a company-provided cell phone and be available to respond during working hours and non-working hours.
    • Other daily, weekly and monthly duties and special projects as assigned.

    • Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent is required; Associates or technical degree is a plus.
    • 1-2 years' experience in operations or maintenance of gas processing plants or similar operations and equipment.
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
    • Subject to DOT drug testing, including random tests.
    • Must pass applicable Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks, as required.
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft applications (including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook) and other assigned computer programs.
    • Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s}, focus attention on details, follow work rules and adhere to established work schedules.
    • Prepare equipment for maintenance, perform basic maintenance related tasks and initiate work requests.
    • Having a strong mechanical skills background is required.
    • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds, waist high, on a frequent basis.

    • Physical:

    • Must be fit for duty for the job tasks being performed, including passing new hire and random drug screenings.
    • Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required by role (includes respiratory protection medical requirements as required by role).
    • Constantly required to display good manual dexterity and to reach with hands and arms.
    • Constantly required to talk and hear.
    • Frequently required to sit while driving or using a PC.
    • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, and twist with good balance.
    • Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds.
    • Occasionally required to carry at least 40 pounds with one hand for at least 10 feet.
    • Occasionally required to crawl, climb in and around equipment, stairs and vertical ladders.
    • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
