Tracy Evans

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Evans serves as Chief Executive Officer of CapturePoint.

Mr. Evans was President and Chief Operating Officer of Denbury Resources (NYSE: DNR) from 1999 – 2011. Prior to Denbury, he held various management, technical and operations positions with Matador Petroleum and Enserch Exploration.

Mr. Evans maintains relationships with local, state, and federal agencies and he has presented to the U.S. Senate Energy Committee on policy aspects of CO2 capture, transportation, and sequestration. Having been at the forefront of the CCUS frontier during his career, Mr. Evans has developed several large-scale CO2-EOR and CO2 pipeline projects in the U.S.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Discovery Natural Resources, and his past board appointments include Inventys (CO2 capture technology company), Genesis Energy (NYSE: GEL, midstream services), and Encore Energy (NYSE: ENP).

Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Kris Roberson

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Roberson serves as Chief Operating Officer for CapturePoint.

Prior to joining CapturePoint, Mr. Roberson served as Vice President of CCUS Operations at Denbury Inc. (NYSE: DEN), formerly Denbury Resources (NYSE: DNR).

Mr. Roberson has extensive experience in CO2 operations, joining Anadarko Petroleum in 2007 and moving to the Denbury Organization in 2010, where he served in a number of different engineering management and technical lead roles with the sole focus of the transportation, injection, and production of CO2.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.

Breck Bash

Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Bash serves as Chief Commercial Officer for CapturePoint, where he is primarily focused on corporate and business development and finance.

He previously served as Director, Finance at Lucid Energy Group and he was on the Energy Investment Banking Team at Jefferies Group LLC. In a previous position, Mr. Bash led a low-carbon team focused on developing and underwriting H2S and CO2 disposal projects. Mr. Bash has experience with more than $10 billion of M&A transactions and $4 billion of strategic debt & equity financings.

Mr. Bash serves on the Advisory Council of The University of Texas McCombs KBH Energy Center, which seeks to be the pre-eminent energy initiative at the intersection of energy business, law, and policy.

Mr. Bash holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a focus in finance from The University of Texas.

Sherry Tucker

Vice President – Communications, Community Engagement and Government Relations

Ms. Tucker facilitates services for acquisition and development of carbon sequestration projects at CapturePoint, guiding public communications and directing community engagement and governmental relations.

Ms. Tucker has extensive experience in permitting, governmental approval, legislative and community relations support for emerging clean energy technologies, enhanced oil recovery and other energy, environmental and real estate development projects.  

She previously served as a partner at McGuire Woods LLP, as Assistant General Counsel in the US Department of Energy, and as Assistant Attorney General for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

Ms. Tucker is currently a member of the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) Carbon Dioxide Capture, Utilization and Sequestration Federal Lands and Outer Continental Shelf Permitting Task Force.  She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law and her A.B. from Mount Holyoke College.

Cole Wright

Chief Development Officer

Mr. Wright serves as Chief Development Officer for CapturePoint, where he is primarily focused on the development of CCUS infrastructure projects.  

Prior to joining CapturePoint, Mr. Wright served as Director of CCUS Commercial Development and Project Integration at Denbury Inc. (NYSE: DEN), formerly Denbury Resources (NYSE: DNR). 

Mr. Wright has extensive experience in commercial development and project management at Denbury and at Apache Corporation. He has served in various leadership roles for enhanced oil recovery projects, for surface infrastructure developments to support drilling programs in unconventional resource plays, and in commercial development with responsibility for securing CO2 services agreements for transportation and sequestration of industrial emissions. 

Mr. Wright earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. 

Forrest Hudson

Chief Land & Legal Officer

Mr. Hudson serves as Chief Land & Legal Officer for CapturePoint and is responsible for all Land and Legal activities.

Prior to joining CapturePoint, Mr. Hudson served as Assistant General Counsel & Director of Land at Denbury Inc., where he was primarily focused on Carbon Capture, Utilization and Sequestration (CCUS) and CO2-EOR projects. 

He joined Denbury in 2006, initially handling oil and gas transactional work, title due diligence, and ROW (rights of way) acquisition.  Later, as Assistant General Counsel and Director of Land, he led all of Denbury’s land operations and provided legal support and guidance on a variety of matters including CCUS, CO2-EOR, community outreach, and CO2 pipeline projects.

Mr. Hudson received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi Valley State University and his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law.
