Adam Barrer

Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer for CapturePoint, Mr. Barrer directs all financial operations of the company including planning and budgeting; analyzing and managing financial performance; oversight of accounting, risk management and financial reporting; and advising the CEO and Board of Directors on capital structure, strategic investments, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Barrer joined CapturePoint with over a decade of experience serving as CFO for multiple energy companies based in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Immediately prior to his appointment at CapturePoint, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO of the Walsh Companies, a group of family-office-controlled businesses operating over 1,000 oil and gas production wells in Texas and New Mexico and developing approximately 15,000 acres of North Texas real estate. Before that, he served as CFO of Wing Resources, an NGP Energy Capital portfolio company acquiring mineral and royalty interests in the Permian Basin, and as Vice President and CFO of Silver Creek Oil and Gas, a Crestview Partners portfolio company exploring and developing oil and gas resources in Texas and Oklahoma. 

Mr. Barrer’s earlier career experiences included positions in New York City as an Associate with Crestview Partners, a $10 billion dollar private equity investment firm, and as an Investment Banking Analyst with Bank of America.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (BS), magna cum laude, in a double major of Economics and Computer Science from Duke University and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.

Kristopher Roberson

Chief Operating Officer

Kristopher Roberson is a seasoned energy executive with 20 years of experience leading upstream and midstream operations, CO₂ EOR, carbon capture, and CCUS development. As Chief Operating Officer at CapturePoint, he oversees enterprise-wide operations across CO₂ pipeline infrastructure, capture facilities, producing assets, and carbon sequestration developments, with responsibility for P&L, capital allocation, regulatory compliance, and HSE.

His experience spans both traditional oil and gas operations and the buildout of carbon management platforms. He has led large-scale CCS initiatives, advanced Class VI permitting and sequestration opportunities, and built cross-functional teams that deliver safe, reliable operational performance and long-term strategic growth.

Prior to CapturePoint, Kristopher held a series of leadership roles at Denbury, where he led CCUS operations, helped establish the company’s carbon solutions business, and managed CO₂ EOR assets across multiple regions. He began his career with Anadarko Petroleum and holds degrees in Petroleum Engineering from LSU and Geological Engineering from University of Mississippi. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
 

Breck Bash

Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Bash serves as Chief Commercial Officer for CapturePoint, where he is primarily focused on corporate and business development and finance.

He previously served as Director, Finance at Lucid Energy Group, and he was on the Energy Investment Banking Team at Jefferies Group LLC. In a previous position, Mr. Bash led a low carbon team focused on developing and underwriting H2S and CO2 disposal projects. He has accumulated significant experience with more than $10 billion of M&A transactions and $4 billion of strategic debt and equity financings. 

Mr. Bash currently serves on the Advisory Council of The University of Texas McCombs KBH Energy Center, which seeks to be the pre-eminent energy initiative at the intersection of energy, business, law and policy.

Mr. Bash holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a focus on Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Cole Wright

Chief Development Officer

Mr. Wright serves as Chief Development Officer for CapturePoint, where his primary responsibilities include project development and construction of new CO2 capture facilities, pipelines, and sequestration sites.

Prior to joining CapturePoint, Mr. Wright served as Director of CCUS Commercial Development and Project Integration at Denbury Inc. (NYSE: DEN), formerly Denbury Resources (NYSE: DNR).

Mr. Wright has expansive experience in commercial development and project management at Denbury, as well as at Apache Corporation. He has served in various leadership roles for enhanced oil recovery projects, for surface infrastructure developments to support drilling programs in unconventional resource plays, and in developmental activities with responsibility for securing CO2 services agreements for transportation and sequestration of industrial emissions.

Mr. Wright earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Forrest Hudson

Chief Land & Legal Officer

As the Chief Land & Legal Officer for CapturePoint, Mr. Hudson’s responsibilities include all Land and Legal activities as well as oversight of the company’s Human Resources teams.

Mr. Hudson served as Assistant General Counsel and Director of Land at Denbury Inc. (NYSE: DEN) prior to joining CapturePoint. At Denbury he was primarily focused on Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Sequestration (CCUS) and CO2-EOR projects.

He joined the Denbury organization in 2006, initially handling oil and gas transactional work, title due diligence, and ROW (rights of way) acquisition. As he was promoted into senior leadership roles, Mr. Hudson led all of Denbury’s land operations and provided legal support and guidance on a variety of matters including CCUS, CO2-EOR, community outreach, and CO2 pipeline projects.

Mr. Hudson received his undergraduate degree from Mississippi Valley State University and his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law.
