CapturePoint and a subsidiary of Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) announced today that they have signed a revised Letter of Intent and finalized a CO2 Offtake Agreement that will expand their collaboration on carbon capture and deep underground storage in Louisiana. Today's agreements formally dedicate the CO2 from Energy Transfer's Haynesville natural gas treating facilities to the CENLA Hub; provide Energy Transfer the right to participate in a joint venture that will own and operate the CENLA Hub; and create a framework for working together to capture and store carbon dioxide from other Energy Transfer facilities in Louisiana.
